The Regional Gallery would like to apologize to visitors with reduced mobility for the problematic access to the building.

The Liberec Regional Gallery manages high-quality and valuable works of art and to be able to protect them, extraordinary measures are taken. Therefore, all the interiors and a part of the exteriors of the Regional Gallery are under constant CCTV supervision! Due to safety reasons, records are temporarily stored. Their disposal is executed only after the safety period expires. The Liberec Regional Gallery has taken measures to prevent abuse of the records. We apologize to our visitors for monitoring the exhibition premises and hope for their understanding. Thank you!


How to get here

The Liberec Regional Gallery is situated in the U Tiskárny Street, in close vicinity of the Liberec shopping center.

By tram

Take the tram to the Šaldovo náměstí stop. Follow the tramlines down the hill along the Palachova Street. At the castle turn left into the 8. března Street. The entrance to the Gallery is directly behind the castle.

By car

Drive in the direction of the city center. You can park either directly on the 8. března Street or in the neighboring streets. Please note you will need to purchase a parking pass from the parking meter! You can park indoor parking lots in the M. Horákové Street (Tesco), in the Rumunská Street (Palác Syner) or on the F. X. Šaldy Square (Gallery Plaza). All indoor parking lots are within a 10-minute walking distance.

Narrated Tours

Would you like to know more about the visual art and do you like narrated tours of exhibitions? The Liberec Regional Gallery offers narrated tours. The Gallery expert personnel will be happy to take individuals as well as groups around the institution, providing narrated tours of both temporary and permanent exhibitions. Simply make a reservation or visit the regularly scheduled narrated tours of temporary exhibitions intended for the public. These are held usually once a month on a Wednesday at 4.30pm.
