Designed predominantly for schools but also for the public, the Liberec Regional Gallery offers additional programs as a part of temporary exhibitions, and also a number of educational and leisure activities. Supervised by a lecturer, participants of various projects learn selected art techniques or test their art imagination, ideas, and manual skills
The Gallery tries to offer such creative activities that for various reasons (space, expertness, finances) cannot be taught in school art lessons. Here, hundreds of pupils and students have a chance to try these activities. We specialize in and focus on the popular type of long-term additional programs affiliated to temporary exhibitions, whose content the gallery lecturer adjusts in correspondence with the exhibition. We offer the program daily in four time intervals and its length depends on the temporary exhibitions. This type of program is suitable for various target groups from pre-schools to high schools.
The Lecturer Department of the Gallery cooperates with external lecturers, employs students, and tries to broaden the offer by new activities aimed for visitors.
